The much-awaited trailer of Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria starrer film Student Of The Year 2 is finally out. The college-drama, which is the sequel to the 2012 film Student of the Year, looks young, vibrant and full of surprises. It marks the debut of Tara and Ananya and we have to say both the newbies look promising in their first film. The trailer gives us a sneak peek in the lives of these Saint Teresa students and we are sure that the fans are excited to see the story unravel on the big screen. But before that, check out these five best moments from the film that we feel were absolutely mind-blowing.

# Tiger Shroff’s action sequences: Tiger is known for pulling off crazy action stunts and Karan Johar has managed to highlight that fact in SOTY 2 as well. In the trailer, we see him getting bashed and then later the tables turn as Tiger ends up bashing Aditya Seal. So be prepared to witness some really good action sequences in the film. We even see Junior Shroff jumping off a building but that’s quite normal in his case, right? Anyway, the trailer has only left us wondering what all could be in store us.

# Ananya and Tara’s debut: Everyone has been waiting to see how these two perform in their first film. Going by the trailer, it seems both the ladies have done a fine job in their debut vehicle. Ananya in her mean-girl avatar and Tara in her ambitious, sweet girl avatar looks promising.

# The love triangle: Tiger and Tara are seen kissing in the trailer which is followed by the scene where the two actresses confess being in love with Tiger at the same time. It sure seems like a fun love triangle that the fans, including us, cannot wait to see. Initially, Ananya’s character isn’t fond of Tiger so it will be interesting to see how their equation changes the film.

# The dialogues: The dialogues make a film even more interesting and SOTY 2 is full of mind-blowing punch lines. Tiger’s dialogue delivery is amazing and some of them will leave you intrigued as to what will happen in the scene. The characters have been giving very apt dialogues and they give us a close glimpse of their personalities as well.

# The setup: If it’s a Dharma Film, the setup has to be grand. And SOTY 2 setup is bigger and better than before. The film will also feature a new version of the song Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and the stage looks massive. The college reminds us of SOTY 1 and we are sure the fans cannot wait to see the story of these three new students.

These were our five favourite moments from the film! What about you? Let us know in the comments section below. Helmed by Punit Malhotra, the film is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios. With the film all set to hit the theatres on May 10, stay tuned to CineBlitz as we get you more exclusive updates from on Student Of The Year 2.

The trailer for Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl has received a tremendous response since the time it was released. It is being absolutely loved by fans across India for the brilliant performance by Ayushmann and the unique storyline. The movie is being helmed by none other than the Entertainment czarina Ekta Kapoor. When asked on why she chose to go with Ayushmann Khurrana for the movie, she replied, “When Raj narrated the script to me, I was of course on floors. I knew only one actor who could do these voice modulations, who will work this hard was Ayushmann. I was sure this man bets on scripts. He won’t see how big the film is, won’t go through the resume of the director. He would read the script and he would perform in himself the ability to perform this role.”

The decision to choose Ayushmann Khurrana as the lead in Dream Girl is certainly shaping up to be a proper one as we can see the immense amount of love the trailer has been receiving. And to top it all off, Ayushmann Khurrana is a powerhouse of talent and skill and it can clearly be seen in his previous track record having delivered six back-to-back hits with the latest one being Article 15.

The film is directed by Raaj Shandilya, produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Aashish Singh. Dream Girl is all set to release on 13th September 2019. For more news and updates from the world of showbiz stay tuned to CineBlitz!

As Hindi cinema’s one of the most cult films Kuch Kuch Hota Hai clocked in 20 years, Karan Johar recently held a premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne to celebrate his debut movie. During the audience interaction, he was asked what if he were to remake the film now, who would play Rahul, Anjali, and Tina. Without an ounce of doubt, he said, “On my Wishlist would be Ranveer Singh as Rahul. He has that mad intensity as Shah Rukh Khan. Alia Bhatt as Anjali. She has the spunk and Janhvi Kapoor as Tina because she has the poise and balance of the part.”

Narrating about how he cast for the film, he said, “I was ecstatic to meet SRK. Kajol and he had promised that they will do my first film. So I remember going to meet him and I had no script whatsoever. I only had a scene in my mind. Which I narrated to him. And he bought into my bullshit. I told him if you like this one scene then I will narrate the entire film to you, which was completely a lie.

Tabu, Urmila, Aishwarya turned me down and Ash was the only one who was polite to call me back. It took months to cast for Rani’s part after Aditya Chopra recommended me her name.” For more news and updates from the world of showbiz stay tuned to CineBlitz!
