The superhero frenzy is clearly leading the market in India and the past few months have been ample proof. This week saw the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 4. While the film was an awaited one and had stirred a good amount of excitement among the Indian audience as well, the love has now translated to the box office collections. The film has managed to cross Rs 10 crore on the day 1 of its release and is a success. The film has turned out to be the biggest-opener in the Spiderman franchise so far.

Even after releasing on a non- holiday Thursday, Spider-Man: Far From Home earned Rs 10.05 crore. The film hit the theatres, while there were already successful Bollywood films running including Kabir Singh (which has become the second-highest opener of the year) and Article 15. Still, the film paved its way and attracted audience. With a good word-of-mouth publicity and the fandom that the studio enjoys, the film is only bound to grow in the coming days.
