Sunday (April 21) as people celebrated Easter across the globe, Sri Lanka was dealing with the aftermath of a terrorist attack. The news of two churches and many hotels around Sri Lanka being bombed simultaneously left everyone shocked and saddened. Almost 200 people were reportedly injured in the dastardly attacks and several were reported dead. Luckily, Indian actress Radhika Sarathkumar escaped the scene unhurt and was safe.
The South actress was staying in one of the hotels that had been attacked. The actress revealed that she was staying in the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo and had just left the city when the blasts took place, narrowly escaping the attacks.
Actors including Jacquline Fernandez, who herself is from Sri Lanka, South star Siddharth, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vivek Anand Oberoi also paid their condolences to the people who lost their loved ones. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates.
