Sridevi death anniversary: Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared a heartwarming message for his Mom co-star

Sridevi passed away on this very day (February 24) last year. In a shocking incident, she was found dead in her Dubai hotel room bath tub by hubby Boney Kapoor. The news shook the entire nation and everyone was eager to know what had happened to their idol. It was soon revealed that she passed away by accidental drowning. The family as well as the world couldn’t believe it. Their hero, their superstar was gone! Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who had worked with Sridevi in Mom still can’t believe that she is no longer with us. In an emotional post, the actor revealed how he was very fortunate to work with the only Indian female superstar.
While sharing a picture of himself and Sridevi from a press conference for Mom (2017), he sent out strength to the family. Nawazuddin Siddiqui remembered her on her first death anniversary and wrote, “It’s still unbelievable that on this day, we lost our first and the only Female Superstar #SrideviJi. Sridevi was last seen in Mom (2017). She delivered a fantastic performance as usual. In fact, she posthumously won the 65th National Award in the Best Actress category for the movie. In remembrance of the late actress and her peace, the Kapoor family had held a puja a few days ago. Husband Boney Kapoor along with daughters Janhvi and Khushi conducted the holy ceremony.
