The Star Wars franchise has been the much-beloved poster-child of true American pop-culture for decades, and with the reboot of the series back in 2015, it was further solidified even with the current generation. However, the last few films from the Star Wars multiverse post-The Force Awakens, had failed to make the same impact that the 2015 film had, with their loyal fan base across the globe. So when director-writer JJ Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy, along with the confirmed cast and producers of The Rise of Skywalker dropped the trailer, as well as the new teaser posters at the Star Wars Celebration panel discussion in Chicago hosted by Stephen Colbert, Star Wars loyalists everywhere were understandably skeptical, yet excited with hope. But we must say, that this time they have much to rejoice and can put aside their fears.
