Student Of The Year 2: Varun, Alia, Sidharth to make a special appearance? Director Punit Malhotra opens up!

Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, who are now bankable names in Bollywood, started their journey with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year in 2012. They have given many hit films since then but SOTY will always remain the most special. Now that’s it 2019, a new batch has arrived. Fans will get to see new friendships and new fights in the movie Student Of The Year 2. This also means that it’s time for the old students to give back to the film. Starring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday in the lead, SOTY 2 might have a special appearance by Alia, Varun and Sidharth. Well, that’s exciting news, right?

During the trailer launch, director Punit Malhotra was asked if the former students will make an appearance in the film to which the director had a happy reply. He said, “You might see Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in SOTY 2.” Well, for those of you who don’t know, Student Of The Year was the debut film of Alia, Varun and Sidharth where the two boys were seen fighting for the SOTY trophy.

Directed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in association with Fox Star Studios, the film is helmed by Punit Malhotra. Marking Ananya and Tara’s debut, the romantic drama is all set to hit the theatres on May 10. Till then, stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates from the world of Bollywood.
