Showman Subhash Ghai has announced another new Marathi film on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. Directed by Lokesh Vijay Gupte, the film is titled ‘My Dad’s Wedding’. Recently, the poster of this movie has flashed on social media. The cast of the film is currently in the bouquet and the film will be shot in London. From the name itself, it is clear that there is something missing in this movie. Even before this, Lokesh Gupte has dealt with various topics in films. So the movie ‘My Dad’s Wedding’ will have some new concept too, that’s for sure. ‘My Dad’s Wedding’ is a multilingual film in which Marathi and English languages will be heard mainly.
Director Lokesh Vijay Gupte says about the film, “I have been watching Subhash Ghai’s work till today. His contribution and experience in Cineworld is invaluable and getting to work with such an experienced person is a big thing for me. Although the cast of the film has not been revealed yet, some of the cast will be seen in it. It is a family movie about the relationship and the audience will love it.”
Producer Subhash Ghai says,” Marathi movies always have the best content. So I am always looking forward to Marathi movies. In the future too, I will come to the audience with many quality Marathi films. This is a very different topic when it comes to ‘My Dad’s Wedding’. The audience will be able to see the sensitive relationship on this occasion.”
Presented by Subhash Ghai, produced by Ameya Vinod Khopkar Entertainment, Mukta Art Limited, Mhalsa Entertainment, the film is produced by Rahul Puri, Swati Khopkar, Suresh Govindrai Pai and co-produced by Ninad Battin and Tabrez Patel. The film is written by Mihir Rajda and Lokesh Vijay Gupte and will be shot by Pradip Khanwilkar. The film will be produced by Subhash Ghai and directed by Lokesh Gupte.
