Super Dancer Chapter 4 judges flaunt the traditional Arunachal Pradesh attire

Sony Entertainment Television’s dance reality show ‘Super Dancer Chapter 4’ has already hit the small screens and has captured audience’s attention with the amazing and unique dancing talent that the contestants have brought in the audition round. Along with phenomenal talent, the contestants have also shared some of their personal yet inspiring stories that have struck a chord with the viewers already. Contestant Kosum from Arunachal Pradesh was subjected to humiliation from people who would call his names for his identity, and the way he looked. People would earlier ridicule him for the same and he was tired of telling him that he belonged to the country.

However, things turned around for Kosum after auditioning for Super Dancer, where a lot of people reached out to him expressing their concerns and sympathy. Kosum also shared that he has been able to make friends with fellow contestants on the show and that he feels at home here.

This weekend in the Mega auditions, Kosum’s mother gifted a special attire to all the judges. The audience will witness the zealous judges, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Geeta Kapur and Anurag Basu don the Arunachal Pradesh’s authentic attire – wrap around skirt, traditional headgear and accessories – gifted by contestant Kosum’s mother, who hails from Arunachal Pradesh. Shilpa and Geeta looked beautiful in the ethnic outfits.

Geeta Kapur who is in awe of Kosum’s Mom’s attire gets happy on knowing that she brought it for them. She expresses her gratitude and says, “I always love trying different attires, and the traditional costumes of Arunachal Pradesh are unique and fascinating. It shows their aesthetic style and enthusiasm for embellishment. Kosum’s mom made my wish come true.”

On the other hand, Shilpa Shetty Kundra says, “The state of Arunachal Pradesh is brimmed with diverse socio-cultures and an exquisite collection of handlooms. The art and the precision of the handicrafts speak volumes of the superiority of these costumes. I am so thankful to Kosum and his mother for being so thoughtful and gifting us with these gorgeous attires. I can’t seem to get enough of my look!”
