Sushant’s SonChiriya postponed; to clash with Kartik’s Luka Chupi and Arjun’s Sandeep aur Pinki Faraar

Hasti DoshiSonchiriya, the Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Padnekar, Manoj Bajpayee starrer film directed by Abhishek Chaubey has got a new release date. The film was earlier slated to release on February 8 will now hit the screens on March 1. With the new release date, the film is all set to clash with two other films – Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s Sandeep aur Pinky Faraarand Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’sLuka Chuppi. And the upcoming clash has the industry talking as all the three films belong to different genres, but have actors of the same league. The films clash will see Sushant-Bhumi take on Kartik-Kriti and Arjun-Parineeti. Of these two are fresh pairings while we have seen Arjun Parineeti star together.
In the Dinesh Vijan romantic comedy, Lukka Chuppi, Kartik essays the role of a television reporter from a small town of Mathura who falls in love with Kriti, a headstrong girl, who returns to Mathura after studying in Delhi. Meanwhile, Aditya Chopra’sSandeep aur Pinky Faraar will have Arjun play the role of a Haryanvi cop and Parineeti an ambitious girl from the corporate world .They belong to two different worlds but are alike in their dislike and mistrust for each other.

Sonchiriya, is set in Chambal of the 70s and revolves around dacoits who fought each other to attain control of the area. Sushant is essaying the role of a dacoit along with Ranvir Shorey and Manoj. Sushant had recently released his look from the film and it goes without saying… it’s impressive!
