Swara Bhaskar’s first production to be a biopic of a con-woman; read on to find out who will play the leading lady

Swara Bhasker’s production house Kahaaniwaaley is set to roll with their first project. And the first film will be a biopic, it has been revealed. Last week Swara and her brother Ishan Bhasker announced their production house Kahaaniwaaley together. And the first film to be produced under their banner will be a biopic based on a con-woman’s life. The story is about a lady named Krishna Sen also known as Sweety Sen, who pretended to be a man and ended up marrying many women. For a span of four years, Sweety made everyone believe that she is a man and allegedly seduced many ladies on the internet, and married them in her male disguise. The lead character will be played by Swara herself.

The rights of the story have been bought by the production house and they are already in the scripting stage. The makers have planned to start the pre-production in a few months. The movie will go on floors later this year. It will be great to see Swara in this quirky tale as the actor and the producer as well. The project is yet untitled.

Swara was last seen in Veere Di Wedding alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam K Ahuja and Shikha Talsania. She is known for her strong and experimental roles in Anaarkali of Arah and Nil Battey Sannata, which excites us more to see her playing Sweety. The director is not yet revealed.
