Taapsee Pannu – Anurag Kashyap reunite for a supernatural thriller post Manmarziyaan and Saand Ki Aankh

Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu are a power-packed combination when it comes to movies. The two worked on the film Manmarziyaan together and the Anurag directorial surely was one of the best characters of Taapsee that we saw on the screen. Anurag is also the producer of Taapsee and Bhumi Pednekar’s Saand Ki Aankh and we are excited to see the film already. But it looks like the filmmaker-actor jodi has a long way to go. Yes, Taapsee and Anurag will be reuniting for yet another film and this time it will be a supernatural thriller. The film will go on floors for a start-to-finish shoot in a single schedule in November-December 2019. The makers have decided on a summer 2020 release.

Anurag, who is exploring locations for setting the film, said, “Taapsee keeps me on my toes and she is on a mission to push me to take on challenges. She threw this one at me and I am taking it on. Have never done anything like this before so am looking forward to it.” The director is looking for a place which creates the atmospheric feel of the supernatural elements embedded in the film.

“I always knew I will work again with Anurag considering the experience I had during Manmarziyaan but didn’t know it will happen so soon. Sunir and I have also been discussing on working on more subjects together since quite some time and this was an immediate yes for all of us on board. I am looking forward this film as I have not explored supernatural genre in Hindi films as yet,” says Taapsee.

The film will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal’s Azure Entertainment who is also very excited for this collaboration. It will be Taapsee’s third collaboration with Anurag and also brings together Taapsee and AZURE together for the second time after Badla, which released last week.
