Taapsee Pannu has been most vocal when it comes to the empowerment of women or any issues discussed around it. Most recently, Vikas Bahl made news for getting a clean chit by the producers of his upcoming film Super 30 in the #MeToo case where he was accused by a former employee in Phantom Films. Regarding this, earlier Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel spoke about it and then Tanushree Dutta stood against the decision. Now Taapsee Pannu too is joining the fray. But while she did not mention anything about speaking for or against Vikas Bahl, she did come out in support of the #MeToo movement.

The actress while speaking to a leading news agency shared that #MeToo movement should be continued and if there is no right judgement given, then fewer women will have the courage of coming out in public. She pointed out that this has been going on for years so it will take time to change the scenario. But she believes that women shouldn’t give up.

On the work front, Taapsee has a hit this year with Badla and apart from that she will be seen in films Game Over, Mission Mangal, and Saand Ki Aankh this year (2019). Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates.
