Taapsee Pannu to play cricketer Mithila Raj in an upcoming film!

Taapsee Pannu seems to have a knack for playing sports onscreen! She was seen playing hockey in her films Manmarziyaan and Soorma and now in her upcoming film Saand Ki Aankh, she will be playing the role of a sharpshooter. And now there’s one more interesting role that will be added to her kitty. She is all set to play the role of International woman cricketer Mithila Raj.

The project was already announced in 2017 by the makers of the film and it will be a biopic on Mithila Raj. The director of the film is not yet finalised. However, since Taapsee has joined the film, the buzz and the excitement will increase among the fans.

As per reports, Taapsee will be undergoing a lot of training in the coming months that will help her to get into the character and learn the sport. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates on this front.
