Karan Johar last directed Ae Dil Hai Mushkil around three years ago and now he is all set to sit in the director’s chair for Takht. The period drama which is in the pre-production stage is possibly the most ambitious project of Dharma Productions. Karan Johar is leaving no stone unturned to make this film authentic and even the actors are ready for the challenge. The film is supposed to go on floors in December this year or January 2020 and looks like the actors are all dedicating themselves to the film completely, just like KJo.
While this multi-starrer project is going to be grand, the responsibility is huge. And to give their 100 per cent all actors associated with the film are reworking on their film’s schedule. So for Ranveer, who already has a tight schedule will have to free his dates for the first month of 2020. In order to do that, Ranveer will finish the shoot of Kabir Khan’s ’83 and soon after that will start shooting for Yash Raj Films’ Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal will also be wrapping up their respective projects before they start working on Takht. Janhvi Kapoor will also be done shooting for Kargil Girl by then.
Apart from Ranveer, Kareena, Alia, Vicky, Janhvi, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Stay tuned to CienBlitz for more such news and updates.
