Comedian Tanmay Bhat has been through some tough times in the past few months. It may be recalled that trouble began for Tanmay when he was pointed out for not taking any action against fellow comedian, Utsav Chakraborty who was called out in the wake of #MeToo movement. As the result he had to step down from his position as the CEO of All India Bakchod, and the content making company was also declared dead. Tanmay recently took to Instagram to share what he is currently going through and it’s not happy news.

Tanmay, on Saturday (June 29) put up a series of videos on Instagram, where he is talking about his battle with depression and how he feels paralysed after what happened last October (2018). Tanmay in his video says, “After everything that happened in October, I am mentally checked out. I feel almost paralysed and unable to participate socially, online or even offline. A big part of my self worth growing up as someone who looked like me became my work.” He further said how it was difficult to say goodbye to a company that he had seen growing from the very beginning. It took a toll on his mental health and he was diagnosed with clinical depression. Meanwhile, the comedian also thanked fans who were his constant support throughout the battle.
