Shah Rukh Khan from The Lion King trailer

The Lion King is just a few days away from its release now. What has added even more excitement for the Indian audience is the news that Shah Rukh Khan and son Aryan Khan have lent their voices to Mufasa and Simba respectively in the Hindi dubbed version of the film. Today the makers released their first Hindi trailer with Shah Rukh as Mufasa and it is already winning hearts.

A trailer of about 1 minute 15 seconds begins with SRK shown in the dubbing studio and then it takes you to the jungle that awaits its ruler. SRK voicing Mufasa is impressive. However, there is no hint of Aryan’s voice yet. Maybe the makers want to keep it as a surprise. This is not the first time the two are lending their voices to animated characters. Back in 2004 the two had dubbed for The Incredibles as well. Check the teaser here right away:

The Lion King is all set to hit the screens on July 19. The other actors to dub for various characters in Hindi are Asrani, Shreyas Talpade, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashish Vidyarthi. For more updates and gossip, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
