Tiger Shroff: SOTY 2’s The Jawaani Song is not a remake, but a tribute!

Remakes have become a fad in Bollywood these days. Songs like Aankh Marey, Dilbar and Chamma Chamma have already gained a lot of popularity. And now one more classic chartbuster has been brought back by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The Student Of The Year 2 team has attempted to revive the 90s with their first track The Jawaani Song and we think they have successfully won the audience’s hearts. Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday launched the song in the presence of media and fans and they even entertained some interesting questions.

When asked about remakes and if he felt any pressure of whether the new song will live up to the hype, Tiger Shroff said, “I won’t say that we had any pressure because this song is not a remake but a tribute to the legends. So we never mean to replace them but simply giving our tribute to them. Yes, the comparisons bound to happen but in no way can we compare this song to the original.” Well, we are sure that the masses would like the song and it also has the potential to become the party anthem of the year. Don’t you guys agree?
