After six long years, director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s much-awaited project – Milan Talkies – is finally ready for release. Just a while back, the first poster of the film was shared on social media and it has got everyone excited, including us, to say the least. The romantic drama, which has mostly been shot in Uttar Pradesh, stars Ali Fazal and Shraddha Srinath in the lead. Initially, the film was supposed to be made in 2012 with Imran Khan in the lead. However, things didn’t work out and Milan Talkies got delayed. Finally, last year the film went on floors and now it’s scheduled to arrive in theatres on March 15.

Coming back to the poster, it shows Shraddha and Ali sitting and giggling in front a billboard that says – Milan Talkies. Further, the Hollywood inspired billboard shows Ali with a camera on one side and his lady love on the other. He is seen working imaginary frames in the air while his pretty co-star looks on as if she is with him in his dreamy world. Overall, the poster is giving out the easy-breezy romantic vibe which seems interesting and promising too. While Ali has already established himself in the film industry, Milan Talkies is Shraddha’s big Bollywood debut.

Set in North India, Milan Talkies it seems will take us back to the time when all we had were single screen theatres. Plus, the old world charm of a small city like Allahabad will surely make this film a visual treat for the viewers. After the first poster, we are obviously waiting for the trailer which will be out tomorrow. Produced by Filmy Keeda Productions in association with Om Prakash Bhatt

Milan Talkies’ story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Kamal Pandey. And the film also stars Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Mishra, Reecha Sinha and Sikander Kher.
