With youth becoming more and more tech-savvy, they are exposed to new software and mobile apps every day. One such popular app is Tik Tok, using which people can make short videos and upload it on all social media platforms. While the app gained a lot of popularity and even brought some people fame, the Madras High Court on Tuesday passed an order banning its downloads. Soon the app was not available in India on Google and Apple store. This created a wave of hysteria and the happy netizens celebrated this new accomplishment with memes and jokes.
One of the users said, ” Now TikTok user actually understand the meaning of *Sahi jaaye na judaayi sajana tere bina dil nayion lagna* #TikTokban,” while another one wrote, ” Saddened to hear about the demise of Tiktok India. 2 minutes of Silence for the tiktok users who mentioned Actors in their Bio. #TikTokban #tiktokbanIndia.”

On the other hand, some people were agitated by the decision as well and one of the users tweeted, “After sometime they will ask to ban Instagram why ? because it also promotes filthy stuff , but won’t take action against who see and post that kinda stuff ? You need to teach man, boys etc Banning something isn’t a solution #Dontbantiktok @narendramodi.”

Well, let us tell you that the ban is not applicable to people who have already downloaded the app on their cell phone. So guess what! You’re not really immune to these videos after all. Anyway, stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates.
