Based on real-life incidents, the trailer takes us through the struggling journey of a common man and his quest to fight against the corrupt loop of the electricity distribution department. Ugly and Do Baara fame Rahul Bhat has convincingly played the role of Vijay representing the common man, whereas the City of Dreams star Priya Bapat is seen to be playing his love interest.
Chakki will be presented by Umesh Shukla, the Director of OMG: Oh My God (2012) and 102 Not Out (2019), Umesh Shukla will be presenting the film, and it will be distributed under the banner of Shiladitya Bora’s Platoon One Films, the mastermind behind PVR Director’s Rare.
The actors are delighted to have received such a great response from the audience as well as the critics. “I feel Vijay is not just me but every citizen who has gone through the same Chakki; our audience will love the film”, says Chakki’s leading man, Rahul Bhat.
“I am sure the audience will connect to my film as the issue was and is still relevant with the system machinery existing now”, says director Satish Munda, expressing his happiness on his directorial debut.
