TV actor Rahul Dixit allegedly commits suicide; father says reported girlfriend Rupali Kashyap killed him

Aspiring TV actor Rahul Dixit was found hanging from a ceiling fan yesterday (January 30) morning at his Oshiwara flat. The actor was allegedly rushed to the hospital by his live-in partner and his flatmates, but was declared dead before arrival. Rahul hails from Jaipur and came to Mumbai to follow his passion for acting. While he was struggling to get a big break in the television industry, he did a few shoots. With no suicide note, there is no clarity as to why Rahul took such a huge step. The police have registered a case of accidental death. But the actor’s father, Mahesh Dixit, suspects foul play. In fact, he is blaming Rahul’s alleged girlfriend Rupali Kashyap for his death.

Rahul was reportedly in a relationship with Rupali. If you glance through his Facebook profile, you will see their pictures and videos. In fact, right before he killed himself, he shared a video of Rupali dancing with their common friend. He wrote, “Our favorite  song, #loveyou #loveofmylife.” We wonder what transpired that night that Rahul took his life? His father is alleging that Rupali killed him. In a similar incident, a few years ago, Pratyusha Banerjee was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her apartment. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh was blamed for her murder. But the police investigation was inconclusive! Rahul Dixit’s suicide brings back memories of this case. We hope that he gets justice.
