TV actress police assault case: The WRONG Ruhi Singh is being dragged into the matter – read details

We had earlier reported that TV actress Ruhi Singh ran into trouble with the police after she slapped an officer on duty. Turns out the controversy has been taking an ugly turn, for several media reports have been dragging the wrong Ruhi Singh in the matter. Yes, we got in touch with the Calendar Girl’s actress Ruhi Singh too whose picture has been carried in several media reports and the actress has been quite upset about the same. In an exclusive conversation with us, Ruhi slammed the online portals and newspapers for not checking their facts before carrying her photographs with the story.

When we asked Ruhi if everything was sorted, she said, “It has done damage to my life, so I don’t think it can ever be sorted. Without checking on their facts really reputed news channels and newspapers have used my photograph. There is a video where it can be seen that it’s not me, even then they used my information to mislead people.” Further, an emotional Ruhi added, “My dad got a panic attack in the morning. They don’t understand what they have done. I live alone in Mumbai, (gets emotional) and with much difficulty, I had earned a name in the past few years. I am planning to take legal action against them. But that will not get me the reputation back, because most of the people think it’s me.”

Well, for those who don’t know, on the weekend TV actress Ruhi Singh along with four friends created ruckus at a KFC joint in suburbs, where she not only abused the staff but even slapped an on-duty officer under the influence of alcohol. The actress was booked under two sections of the IPC and was supposed to report on Monday to the Khar and Santacruz police station.
