Hasti DoshiSunny Deol contested and won the elections from Gurdaspur, Punjab in the recently-concluded Lok Sabha elections. Post the win, perhaps his constituency was expecting the actor-politician to visit Gurdaspur again, and that’s why they seem irked since the actor has taken off on a holiday instead. Sunny posted a video of him headed for a vacay saying, “off to Kaza, it’s a beautiful place and I wish I could spend my winters here.”
Now even though there are many Sunny Deol fans and lovers who support him, there are others who seem upset and want him to do some work there to help the locals instead of vacationing. In the comments, we read some followers saying, “serve the people of Gurdaspur”. Another user has said that Deol should now “see Gurdaspur”. One user commented, “Prawa aja hun punjab kini thnd khayega tainu jitaya gurdaspur di sewa krn layi na ki jitn toh bad tuh bs chle jaye ghumn” (Brother, come back to Punjab, how long will you stay in the cold? You’ve been voted to serve the people of Gurdaspur, and you’re just travelling.)
