Varun Dhawan seems to be a true-blue filmy boy when it comes to marketing his films. And now as he embarks on his newest dance film Street Dancer with Remo D’Souza, the young star is coming up with rather innovative ways to announce it. The actor took to Instagram posting a still from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai that has three stars – Kajol, Rani Mukerji and Shah Rukh Khan – highlighting the number 3. The 3 indicated the third film of the ABCD franchise. Rather smart move, we’d say!
The film was earlier titled to be ABC3D. However, we exclusively reveal to you that due to the title rights issues with Disney (producers of ABCD and ABCD2) not ready to give up the title, the makers of this film decided to title it as ‘Street Dancer’. It still remains the third film of the franchise.
As for the leading lady of the film, Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in to star opposite Varun, after Katrina Kaif walked out of the film citing date issues. While Katrina and Varun’s pairing was generating much interest, the Varun-Shraddha Jodi had already found acceptance after the success of ABCD2. Varun welcomed Shraddha after her signing up via a tweet saying “Welcome Chirkut”.

The success of the earlier two dance films have helped it to become a successful franchise and there’s much interest to see how the third one will shape up. After the fate of Race 3 at the Box Office, Remo too is in need of a hit now.
