While the makers are now working on the second part, rumours about Varun replacing Rajkummar Rao recently grabbed headlines. Of course, the fans were shocked hearing the news but our sources have now confirmed that Rajkummar will indeed be a part of the sequel. The franchise will continue its association with the versatile actor and there was never a talk about the replacement. “Stree was such a huge success that it’s only natural that there will be ample talk about the sequel. There is no clarity at the moment when it’s going to happen but whenever it does, it will star Rajkummar Rao. Director Amar Kaushik too clarified that several times in the past,” said our source.
