Veeru Devgan passes away: Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Sanjay Dutt offer their condolences to Ajay Devgn and family

Today (May 27) is a sad day for the Devgan family as Ajay Devgn’s father and veteran action director Veeru Devgan passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in the morning. Veeru Devgan was a well-known veteran action director and has to his credit more than a 100 films including Mr India and Shahenshah. Many friends and well-wishers from the industry including Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol visited the Devgan family to offer their condolences. Sajid Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Nikhil Dwivedi too were snapped at the Devgan house.

Besides being a top-notch action director, Veeru Devgan had also tried his hand at direction with Hindustan Ki Kasam in 1999. He also produced a few films.

Veeru Devgan’s younger son and Ajay’s brother Anil Devgn is also a director. He also has two daughters, Neelam and Kavita. The industry will always remember Veeru Devgan for his massive contribution to the Hindi film industry. Our condolences to the Devgan family.
