Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar are two of the most talented gen-now stars that we have seen, and 2018 was one of the best years for them. While Vicky shone bright in Raazi, Love Per Square Foot, Lust Stories and many others, Bhumi made a kickass mark with Lust Stories. These breakout stars are all set to team up for Karan Johar’s Takht, but it looks like before that, they are going to be a part of another Dharma movie. Yes. Vicky, in fact, has already started working on it. A horror comedy being directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, this yet to be untitled film is set to release in 2019.
While not much is known about this new Dharma Productions’ film, we hear that the film will be an entertainer with a lot of scary and hilarious elements. Vicky has already completed one schedule, and is set to start the second schedule with Bhumi pretty soon. Apparently, Vicky is the main protagonist around whom the film revolves. Bhumi has lesser screen time, but with the script being so good, she could not say no. Vicky signed up immediately because he had also loved the script. In an exclusive interview, Vicky had mentioned to us, “Post Uri, I have a horror movie, which I have already started working on, but can’t talk about much right now, and then I have Takht.” What do you guys have to say about this new development? In the meantime, both Vicky and Bhumi have amazing releases this year. And while Vicky’s Uri: The Surgical Strike has hit the screens on January 11 and impressed one and all, Bhumi Pednekar’s Sonchiriya is set to release on February 08. It promises to be an exciting year for both of them. So stay tuned to Cine Blitz as we get you all the updates about their new film right here.
