Vicky Kaushal is on a roll and how. The actor’s platter of films is getting bigger by the day and he now has yet another film to look forward to. Buzz is that Vicky Kaushal has replaced none other than Akshay Kumar in the Hindi remake of Veeram, tentatively titled LOL: Land of Lungi.
Yes, that’s right. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, according to the latest buzz, the film will be helmed by Farhad Samji. The film also marks Farhad’s foray into directing an action film, as so far he has largely only been associated with comedy entertainers.
Though no official reasons have been given out about Vicky stepping in for Akshay, insiders say that it could have something to do with the fact that the action star could not allot dates as he already has Sooryavanshi and Laxmmi Bomb to complete first. The actress opposite Vicky is yet to be finalised. As for Veeram, the 2014 Tamil action film starred Ajith Kumar and Tamannah Bhatia in lead roles.
