Vivek Oberoi and controversies go hand in hand. Recently, his film PM Narendra Modi came under the scanner of the Elections Committee and got delayed even despite much efforts from the team to keep it on track. Now, he makes the headlines once again for his recent tweet. He tweeted a meme and took a pun on the current political situation through Aishwarya’s love life in the past few years, and called it creative. The tweet features Aishwarya, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and himself; all three who have a love connection to her. This enraged the netizens and Vivek received a lot of backlash for the same. And now, it looks like he has gotten into deeper trouble.

The Maharashtra Women Commission, headed by Vijaya Rahatkar will soon send a notice to the actor. The team of MWC took to their social media platform and issued a statement via a video saying, ” The tweet sent out by actor Vivek Oberoi is not creativity. It is demeaning and disrespectful to women. He is a responsible artist and we do not expect such behaviour from him. We at Maharashtra Women Commission take care of such issues, and we will send a notice to Vivek for this now.” Check out their tweet right here:

Now, the show-cause notice has been served to him by the Maharashtra Women Commission:
