The much-awaited first look and teaser of the Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrerWAR dropped a couple of days back and has impressed audience with the action sequences. While the teaser is garnering praises, the news today is that WAR has become the first film to be shot in the Arctic Circle
Hrithik and Tiger have shot for a power-packed car sequence on ice in Finland which falls in the spine-chilling cold Arctic circle. Our film has a huge car sequence that sees Hrithik and Tiger perform an adrenaline pumping action stunt that has been entirely shot on ice. We shot this in Finland which is in the Arctic circle and we were informed by our production team that we were the first ever film in the world to shoot an action sequence of this scale in the Arctic! Hrithik and Tiger have pushed themselves from the word go for our film to pull off some death-defying stunts. This sequence was incredibly risky but visually so stunning that we went for it.”
The action department was helmed by Paul Jennings who has films like The Dark Knight, San Andreas and the hit TV seriesGame Of Thrones to his credit. Produced by Yash Raj Films, WAR will see Hrithik and Tiger be pitted against each other and also stars Vani Kapoor. The film will be releasing on October 2.
