Delnaaz Irani is returning to the small screen in a full-fledged role after almost two years with Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey. The actress will be seen in a completely different look in the show and she confessed that she is in love with it.

“It’s a simple Indian look with a red bindi and long open hair. I have kept it very straight and neat. I will be draping Banarasi, silk and cotton sarees. Wearing a saree every day is definitely getting on my nerves, but we have very good people who drape the saree really well. I have not done very heavy make-up and I have kept my eyes very simple as it is a simple household. I am very happy with the look. It is one of the few times that I am wearing a saree for a show,” she said.

“In my last show Chhoti Sarrdaarni, my character was very English. I was very comfortable doing that, although it was negative. But in this show, wearing a saree and a wig everyday is tiring, but I am breathing in all the positivity. I come on the set with a very fresh positive vibe. I am thankful to God and this is what we do as actors. Whether it is daily or something else, work is really important and I have wanted to do a daily soap for a long time,” she added.

Delnaaz is hopeful that the audience will love her in the soon-to-go-on-air show. “I am sure people will love me because it’s a positive role. Whatever I do, people will definitely smile because you cannot take comedy away from me. I think even when I am just talking normally, people have a smile on their faces,” Delnaaz said.
