When rumours cost Divyanka Tripathi her work

TV’s leading actress Divyanka Tripathi has her hands full shooting for her show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. However, the actress found her name being dragged in uncalled for rumours. She went live on her Facebook page last night (June 13) to address these rumours.

Expressing her disappointment, she spoke about how some people have continued to malign her image throughout her career and how in the past, she lost out on work because of such rumours. The Banoo Main Teri Dulhann actress also shared how some of her co-stars feel like she is not interested in working anymore. She also cleared the air about people calling her unprofessional.

She said, “I will narrate an incident. Years back when I was doing my first show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann even after giving it everything, my heart, soul, there were some people in the production house who were not fond of me for certain reasons. So, in order to shrug off their own responsibility and keep their own mistakes hidden, they maligned my image. I was the soft target there. The higher authorities listened to them. And in fact post, this incident people stopped giving me work by calling me unprofessional.”
