Which film was Sushant Singh Rajput about to start?

According to sources, after the lockdown got over, Sushant Singh Rajput was to start shooting for Rumi Jaffrey’s film that co-starred Rhea Chakraborty. A source close to the project said, “If the lockdown hadn’t been announced we would’ve started the shooting of the film in May. In fact, the unit was to travel to London for the same.”

The rumours that Sushant had no work are untrue, as the actor was flooded with offers after Chhichhore but wanted to take his own time to do films. He was reading scripts and had zeroed in on the Rumi Jaffrey film which was being produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The actor was a little upset that the lockdown got extended and he couldn’t start work.

Sushant’s film Dil Bechara directed by Mukesh Chhabra will be his last film. Fox Star was to announce it on Monday and actors were supposed to tweet the announcement of the film.

Dil Bechara is based on ‘The fault in our stars’ and Sushant plays the role of a cancer patient in the film.
