Kartik Aaryan made his Bollywood debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and won hearts with his very first film. His long monologue in the film bowled over audience and critics. Last year too, the actor hit bulls-eye at the box office with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Getting nostalgic, the actor posted an old picture of himself when he was still struggling to land his first film. Kartik, in his earlier interviews has in fact revealed about his struggling period of two to three years before his big break. Interestingly, the picture which he posted on Insta, has become an instant hit. He posted, “when the hair wasn’t up. The photo that got me my debut film’s audition #mainepyarkiyalook to #pyarkapunchnama.”
The picture is sepia-toned which makes it look older than it actually is. Apart from his fans, it was actress Kriti Sanon who replied to his picture saying, “but your fav expression hasn’t changed, hahaha fallen down laughing (laughing emoticon).” To which Kartik replied that it was his USP.
In an interview Kartik had spoken about his journey and the struggles which wasn’t easy for him, but he believes that ultimately what helped him was his talent. His last film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was a sleeper hit last year. He is coming up with the film Luka Chuppi in 2019 which is directed by Laxman Utekar. The film is a romantic comedy starring Kartik and Kriti Sanon. Kartik is playing the role of a reporter of local TV channel and Kriti represents today’s youth. It would be interesting to see Kartik again playing a comic role. Comment below what do you think about his picture which he posted and his today’s look!
