PM MOdi

The Lok Sabha election 2019 ended with the Bhartiya Janta Party coming into power once again, and PM Narendra Modi getting a second tenure as the Prime Minister of the country. So, PM Modi will be taking the oath for the second time on May 30. The ceremony is a prestigious one and will be attended by delegates from across the globe. As of now, the reports suggest that the list is 6,000 names long. What the ceremony also has as an important factor is the presence of the film industry. Films are a major part of the economy and the industry marks its presence at the prestigious event, with invites having gone out to many huge film celebrities from industries across the country. While south superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have already given their nod to being a part of the ceremony, we wonder who all from Bollywood will grace the event.

Bollywood presence at the swearing-in ceremony will undoubtedly have the highest number of eyeballs. We have seen a majority of the fraternity wishing him on his win, and we expect a whole lot of them made it to the guest-list. Till now Tamil movie veterans Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are the only two who have confirmed, none from anywhere else. The last swearing-in ceremony saw Bollywood superstar Salman Khan with his father Salim Khan present at the event, and we expect that they might attend the event this time too. We are not sure about the other Khans though. Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, Jaya Prada, Kirron Kher, Jaya Bachchan are highly likely to attend the event as they represent their respective political parties. Sunny Deol will be an addition to the list as he made his political debut this elections, and also won at Gurudaspur in Punjab on a BJP ticket.

As the reports suggest, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Lata Mangeshkar, Anupam Kher, Rekha, Vivek Anand Oberoi, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rahul Dravid, Saina Nehwal have received the invites to attend the ceremony.  Meanwhile, we had recently seen a bunch of actors led by director Karan Johar meeting the PM, including stars like Ranveer Singh,  but we are not sure their schedules will allow them the time to attend this national event.  Who will and will not make it to this event,  will anyway be revealed on May 30, as all eyes will be tuned onto their screens to catch televised segments of the same. Till then, for all the updates and gossip about the ceremony and Bollywood, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
