One of the most anticipated films of the year, Bharat is the story of a man whose journey is shown in parallel to the country’s journey. The film stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, although, earlier, Priyanka Chopra was to star alongside Salman. As we know, she was planning her wedding, due to which she refused the film. At the end of the day, it looks like Salman is very thankful about that.
In an interview, when asked if Priyanka has reacted to this film, Salman said, “She hasn’t tweeted yet, so don’t know about her reaction.” But further, the Bollywood Bhaijaancouldn’t stop talking about her, and it felt like there was a lot more he wanted to tell. He later added,  “She couldn’t do the film because of her own reasons and all happens for good. She did come to me to say that she can’t be a part of the film, just five days before we were to start shooting. She told me that she will be getting married, so I told her that the dates can be adjusted. But she said that she didn’t know how long it would take. So I was fine with it.”
Beyond that, the Bharat star opined saying, “For this career, when you put in so many efforts to keep it intact, this was the biggest film of her career. There may have even been thoughts that maybe, after this, Salman will not work with me again. But she chose to get married which is good, usually, people leave their husbands. This statement  churned up curiosity about whether he would now work with the Desi girl Priyanka Chopra,  to which the star said, “Sure if she has anything to offer, I will.”
But all Salman fans know how witty and subtle he is with his statements. There’s a lot hidden behind the said and unsaid!.
Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Alvira Agnihotri, Atul Agnihotri, and Krishan Kumar, under the banners of T-Series, Reel Life Productions and Salman Khan Films, releases this Eid on June 5. They appreciated the performances, the writing and direction, the world class production values and the sheer beauty of the moving story of a family. The Sky Is Pink, is a story of a family that never gives up despite all the odds and an amazing love story of a couple that traverses decades and continents, told through the lens of their sassy, sardonic, spunky teenage daughter, Aisha. While Zaira Wasim plays the role of Aisha Chaudhary and Rohit Saraf plays her brother, Priyanka and Farhan play their parents in the movie.

Director Shonali Bose shared, “Watching the film for the first time with an audience is always an unnerving experience. And when it’s a world stage with a lot of expectations and 2,000 people – it’s even more terrifying. So when they laughed out loud multiple times and then wept audibly it was utterly moving and overwhelming. I can’t wait to share this baby of mine with the rest of the world. Especially India.”
