Wishes pour in from the likes of Suriya, Farhan Akhtar on the power-packed trailer of ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’

Actor Suriya launched the trailer for Pa. Ranjith’s much-awaited sports drama “Sarpatta Parambarai” today, which has since received positive and tremendous reception from fans. The film, set in the 1970s, starring Arya and Dushara Vijayan in the lead roles, has been creating a significant amount of buzz ever since its announcement.

Unveiling the trailer for the movie on his official Twitter handle, Suriya also posted a congratulatory note to Pa. Ranjith, Arya and the cast, wishing them success on their venture. The trailer also garnered attention from Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar, who posted a tweet congratulating the cast and team on the raw and riveting trailer. Notably, Farhan also plays the lead in a Hindi-language sports drama film ‘Toofan’, which is set to release later this month.

Sarpatta Parambarai is Arya’s first collaboration with Pa. Ranjith, as well as the acclaimed director’s fifth film. Dushara Vijayan makes her acting debut in the film, which also has John Kokken, Pasupathi, Kalaiyarasan, and Sanchana Natarajan in supporting roles. The movie is all set to have it’s digital premiere on Amazon prime video on 22nd July.
