Zaira Wasim’s social media hacked? Here’s what she has to say

After completing five years in the industry, Zaira Wasim recently made a shocking announcement of quitting Bollywood. The actress, who starred in Dangal and Secret Superstar declared her disassociation with the industry by penning a letter explaining her decision to do so. Check out Zaira’s letter here.

Post, this while she found support from many people, she faced severe backlash too, as religion was one of the reasons cited by her to quit the film industry. But she stands firm on what she said. The announcement had come as such a shock that many of her fans and followers thought that her account had been hacked. But the actress posted a message via her Instagram confirming that she is indeed posting it and that her accounts are not hacked. She wrote, “This is to clarify that none of my social media accounts were or are hacked and are being handled by me personally. Kindly refrain from believing or sharing claims that state otherwise. Thanks! regards, Zaria Wasim.”
