Zee Studios released Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari in theatres as an attempt to bring the audience back to the screens. After this bold stand on supporting cinemas Zee Studios will release the film on the pay per view platform ZeePlex. Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh and Fatima Sana Sheikh, the film directed by Abhishek Sharma portrays an incredibly zany story about a unique battle of wits between a wedding detective and a prospective groom.
At its heart is a beautiful love story that will put a smile on the faces of the viewers. Set in the 90s, the film is a simple and effective tale of innocence and charming romance. Aided by a strong ensemble comprising actors Manoj and Seema Pahwa, Suprirya Pilgaonkar and Annu Kapoor amongst others, the film opened to a strong word of mouth.

Commenting on the film’s ZeePlex release, Shariq Patel, CEO, Zee Studios said, “We are grateful to all those who came and enjoyed the film in the theatres. However, there is a large audience that still is not comfortable venturing out to the cinema halls. Keeping that in mind and continuing our promise of great content on ZeePlex, we are delighted to bring the family film of the year to the audience at home worldwide.
Abhishek added in the same vein, “We are elated and overjoyed at the love that came our way and now it’s important to take the film to a newer set of audience worldwide. Amidst rising cases, if the audience can’t make it to the cinema, the cinema must find its way to the audience. We are looking forward to more and more people watching our film.”
Presented by Zee Studios, the film released this Diwali and will now premiere on the streaming service ZeePlex.
