Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards were held last night (April 20)
Yesterday, at the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2019, B-Town celebs gathered to celebrate talent and hard work of those in Cinema. In presence were actors like Kajol, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Pranutan Bahl, Moniesh Bahl, Kubra Sait, Saqib Saleem, etc. The B-towners were dressed in starry ensembles as they arrived for the event. Some from the also bagged the prestigious award as well.
Dhadak debutants Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor bagged the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence award at the ceremony. Saqib Saleem and Kubbra Sait also won the digital sensation of the year, male and female awards, forRangbaaz and Sacred Games, respectively. TV actor Sumona Chakravarti also won the Dadasaheb Phalke award for her excellent performance on the small screen on The Kapil Sharma’s show. Amrita Rao’s performance in Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Thackeray was also rewarded.
