Shah Rukh Khan’s brutally honest speech bowled everyone over at the Critics’ Choice Film Awards

It was a starry night at the Critics’ Choice Film Awards in Mumbai last night as most of Bollywood came out decked up to attend one of the biggest nights of this year. From established divas like Alia Bhatt, Aditi Rao Hydari, to newcomer Shobita Dhulipala, there were all kinds of glamour and high fashion on the red carpet.

While the pictures from this high-profile event have already gone viral, here’s a special something for all the SRK fans out there. Yes, the Zero actor made a surprise entry towards the end of the show and had something very special planned for his audience. SRK, who is known to be fantastic orator, bowled everyone over yet again with his honest speech about cinema, his choice of roles and everything in between. “So I request all my critic friends here, please don’t be like us Bollywood film stars and get carried away by what Bollywood succumbs to many as a star system. On the work front, Shah Rukh is in talks with South director, Atlee for two film scripts. The two met during one of the IPL matches and sat down to discuss the projects.
