Namya, (Makrand Anaspure) a middle-class insurance agent who is a devoted brother to three sisters from a humble background, faces a challenge when seeking a match for his youngest sister Archana (Reena Madhukar) in a society predominantly favouring wealth.
In a twist of fate, he enters a contract marriage with Shanaya, (Tejaswini Lonari) a wealthy and obstinate girl. As the complexities unfold, Namya struggles with familial expectations, questions of genuine connection, and moral choices, all while racing against time to secure his sister’s future.
As Namya navigates the complexities of relationships, cultural expectations, and the opulent world of Shanaya’s life, the film sets out to offer a nuanced commentary on the societal pressures and the challenges of arranged marriages. This thoughtful exploration adds depth and dimension to the story, prompting reflection without sacrificing its comedic charm.

As far as the performances are concerned, I’d say that Makrand Anaspure is a complete package of acting proving that even after having been a part of Marathi Cinema for ages, he has not lost his spark as an actor while Tejaswini Lonari infuses a lot of life in the film as a modern girl who schemes to unite with her lover by pretending to marry a poor man. Pankaj Vishnu has been wasted in a role that does not set out to do justice to his potential as an actor while Arun Nalawade is good as usual. Vijay Patkar sets out to show his mettle as an actor who can blend comedy with shades of villainy.
On the whole, it’s a film that celebrates the strength of family bonds, the joy of unexpected love, and the importance of embracing life’s comical complexities. With its heart-warming story, melodious music, relatable characters, and laugh-out-loud humour, this film promises to leave you with a smile on your face and oodles of warmth in your heart.
