Creation of the Gods, originally a Chinese movie, has now arrived in India with English and Hindi versions. Director Wuershan returns to captivate audiences with his enchanting direction. Based on the most well-known classical fantasy novel of China, the trilogy is a magnificent eastern high fantasy epic that sets out to recreate the prolonged mythical wars between humans, immortals and monsters, which happened over three thousand years ago.

When the Shang dynasty’s future is threatened by the Great Curse, to restore order, Ziya, one of the three immortals, is sent to Earth with the sacred scroll for the king. However, when Ziya uncovers the true nature of the King, and almost everything changes.

The story unfolds as King Zhou (Kris Phillips) prepares to attack the city of Jizhou with the assistance of Ji Fa (Yosh Yu), his loyal guard. Their objective: eliminate Su Hu (Ashton Xu), a defector. Zhou successfully executes the mission, wiping out the entire clan with the exception of Su Hu’s daughter, Su Daji (Naran).

However, all said and done, it is soon revealed that Su Daji is not human but a female demon fox who enchants King Zhou with her magic, ultimately becoming his favourite concubine and trusted confidant.

Sadly, upon Zhou’s return, tragedy strikes as his brother murders their father, only to be later accidently killed by Ji Fa. During the coronation ceremony, a curse afflicting Zhou is also unveiled. Meanwhile, the Gods of Kunlun debate whether to release the sacred scroll to restore order.

In the meanwhile, one of the three immortals, Jiang Ziya (Huang Bo), decides to relinquish his extraordinary powers and deliver the scroll to Zhou. Yet, just as he is about to do so, he is astonished to discover the true nature of the prince.

The film’s other attractions are actors Huang Bo, Kris Phillips, and Xuejian Li, whose performances are brilliant and leave an exceptional impression on the audience. Also, artists like Yu Xia, Kun Chen, Quan Yuan, Le Yang, Yosh Yu, and Chen Muchi deliver commendable performances. is one of the finest fantasy dramas, a must-see for action movie enthusiasts.
