The magic of cinema is prevalent since more than a hundred years now. People still flock to cinema halls when they fall in love with any particular film. When any of the film mesmerizes the audiences, no one can stop it from getting all the love it deserves. Released today in cinemas all across the country, ‘Auhaam’ is one such film which surely deserves to get all the adulation and attention from the cine-goers.

‘Auhaam’ falls under the category of a finely made suspense-thriller which keeps you glued untill the last scene of the film is rolled out. As the film progresses the interest level of the audiences goes up with each and every jaw dropping twist the film offers. Made under the banner of ‘Richa Gupta films’, Its such an hard-hitting film that it will be difficult for the audiences to forget it easily. The pitch perfect story of the film makes the audience think hard about the trauma of a husband (Shiva) whose wife (Riya) suddenly disappears one day with no clue whatsoever.

But the irony is that when Shiva decides to approach the UP police, he doesn’t get any kind of instant relief and his desperation to know the whereabouts of his beloved wife grows while police launches a massive in search of Riya. And thus, his life becomes more painful with every passing day. The kind of truth gets revealed in search of his wife shocks everyone. While investigating the whole matter, the police discovers so many perplexing angles in the case that it gets more and more confused about the vanishing act of Riya.

The story of ‘Auhaam’ is gut wrenching. Director ‘Auhaam’ pulls no punches to tell the story in a hard-hitting manner. The film has been shot in a way that throughout the film there is not a single dull moment. Every scene and sequence is constructed in such a brilliant way that while watching the film, the audiences won’t be able to take off their eyes from the screen for even a second.

Hriday Singh (Shiva), Riya (Divya Malik) and Inspector Yashwant (Varun Suri) excel in their pivotal roles in the film. Their performance is one of the major highlight of the film. All the principal and other supporting cast of the film with their excellent performances make the film more powerful and impactful.

Varun Suri has also written the screenplay, dialogues and lyrics of ‘Auhaam’ which are backbone of the film. The music by Vijay Verma makes the proceeding on the screen more intriguing while the story written by Mahesh Kumar and Hriday Singh is nuanced and rock solid which keeps you guessing about the next twist and turn about to come in the film.
