Rakshit (Vivek Jaitly) and Aanchal (Ganga Mamgai) love each other deeply, but an invisible third person wants to make Aanchal a part of his eerie world at any cost. Who is he? What are his intentions?  However, his enemy is an unknown evil force that is neither alive nor dead.

Terrifying events from Aanchal’s life start to unfold, one after the other and the scary suspense increases. What is the cause of this unsolved mystery? Will Rakshit and Aanchal’s true love triumph, or will they be crushed by the unknown evil’s intentions? This is what the story is all about.

Rakshit and Aanchal have everything in the world to make it look like a perfect love story, but very soon horrifying incidents in Aanchal’s life start unfolding; directly out of a book she is reading. What is the reason for this incident? Will their true love win or will be crushed by wicked intentions of the unknown? What will Rakshit do now?

What makes this film different from the others in its ilk is the way the writer –editor -director has treated it without letting himself go overboard at any time. And it has been slickly edited though there are quite a few scenes which irritate the viewer by going on and on. On the flipside , however, is that the director has incorporated a bikini scene in the bathtub as well as passionate lip to lip kisses though they are not warranted, ostensibly keeping in mind the front benchers.

Exotic locales like Dharamshala and Manali have been exploited visually by the cinematographer Manoj Shaw while Mukhtar Sahota’s mellifluous music has been enriched with aplomb by Ajay Garg’s soulful lyrics.

As far as performances are concerned, I would say that while Ganga Mamgai renders a sterling performance as Aanchal and displays her passion for acting, Vivek Jaitly as Rakshit gives her sterling support and gets into the skin of his character effortlessly. It is the seasoned performer Rituraj Singh who steals the show without going overboard as a spiritual guru while Kaveri Priyam renders herself creditably as a TV Reporter.

On the whole, to sum up, I would say that Vash: Possessed By The Obsessed is a low budget horror film which is not only logical but also execution-wise stays true to the gripping script and does not make you pause to ponder and is gripping to the core
