Jackie Shroff joins Vijay – Atlee’s Thalapathy 63

Jackie Shroff has given the audience so many memorable roles that he still has a special place in their hearts. The actor who was last seen in Paltan has now been roped in for a Tamil film. Tentatively titled Thalapthy 63, the Atlee directorial will be a Tollywood sports drama. Interestingly, this won’t be his first film in Tamil cinema. Before this film, Jackie has been a part of films like Aaranya Kandam and Mupparimanam. Aaranya Kandam was his debut Tamil film and he essayed a bold role of a don with erectile dysfunction. He made a cameo appearance in the latter. Now, it will be fun to see him in Vijay’s film.

The team of the film welcomed Bhidu with a warm tweet. They said, “We are happy to welcome #JackieShroff Sir on board #Thalapathy63 ~ @Vijay63_Movie.” Vijay will reportedly play the role of a football coach in the film and Jackie’s role is yet to be revealed. But to keep up the enthusiasm, the makers did reveal an announcement poster with Bhidu on it and he is looking handsome as usual in it. Check out the post right here:

Directed by Atlee, the film is produced under the banner of AGS Entertainment. The team has already shot for a few scenes in North. As for Jackie, he also has three Bollywood releases this year. He will be a part of Salman Khan’s Bharat and John Abraham’s Romeo Akbar Walter. He will also be a part of Prabas starrer Saaho.
