Mere Pyare Prime Minister title track: This Arijit Singh number will make you feel fuzzy – watch video

The first song from Mere Pyare Prime Minister is out and it’s a heart-warming composition

Mere-Pyaare-Prime-Minister

Just a few days back, the trailer of Mere Pyare Prime Minister was released on the web and it instantly struck a chord with everyone who watched it. Even I found the trailer very endearing and promising. And now the makers have dropped the first song from their film and it’s the title track. Sung by Arijit Singh and composed by musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the title track of Mere Pyare Prime Minister is as good as the trailer if not more. I know technically a trailer cannot be compared to a song but what I mean is that I felt the same emotions hearing the song, which I did while watching the trailer.

Visually, the song is beautiful because it’s almost a replica of the trailer. The four kids are an absolute treat to watch even though there is hardly anything new in the video. But still, I had a huge smile on my face throughout watching the song video. Coming to the song itself, the lyrics by Gulzar are bang on keeping in mind the theme of the film. Arijit Singh, as always, is impressive with his vocals and his voice has never failed to charm me. But I have to admit, for me, it was the background music of this number that really did the trick. It’s peppy, it’s fun and so addictive that’s already stuck in my mind.

So brownie points to Shankar, Eshaan and Loy for making the title track so lively and lovely at the same time with their music. So go hear the song if you haven’t already and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. In the meantime, after an impressive trailer and a song, I am certainly rooting for this film which is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and will hit the theatres on March 15. National Award winning director Nitin Kakkar’s upcoming love story Notebook has been the talk of town ever since it was announced. Of course, the fact that it is being backed by Salman Khan is a huge factor. But since its casting, all eyes have been on the lead pair that is set to to make its debut in the romantic film. The media got a glimpse of the duo, Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl, at the film’s trailer sneak peak yesterday (February 21). However, the trailer for the public domain was released today (February 22). And we must say that the trailer has impressed the audience as it did the media and the industry!

Incidentally, February 21 also marked the death anniversary of Pranutan’s grandmother – the legendary actress Nutan. And the newbie admitted that it was an emotional moment to unveil her trailer on the same day. Well, we must say that Pranutan is well on her way to make her late grandmother proud. Her acting prowess in the trailer is really impressive. Coming to the Notebook trailer, it shows Kabir (Zaheer) connecting with Firdaus (Pranutan) through a notebook. He falls in love with her without even having met her or seen her. Since Firdaus is a teacher, there are six children who form an important part of their equation. They feature prominently in the trailer too!

The romantic drama has been shot beautifully in Kashmir. The stunning cinematography captures Kashmir’s beauty very well and it will leave you captivated too. The lead pair – Zaheer and Pranutan – look extremely promising as newcomers. Their chemistry is mindblowing! The Notebook trailer certainly rouses your interest to watch the film too. Check it out right here! And share with us your thoughts about it in the comments section below!

For those of you who don’t know, Pranutan is the daughter of famous actor Mohnish Bahl. Zaheer Iqbal is known to be close to the Salman Khan clan as his father is a good friend of the superstar. Besides, these two debutantes, the film also features six child artistes, who will also be making their debut in Notebook. The film that is slated to release on March 29, has been produced by Salma Khan, Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani.

Luka Chuppi song Duniyaa: Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan’s chemistry is crackling – watch video

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Luka Chuppi is Kriti Sanon’s first film with Kartik Aaryan

Duniya-Luka-Chuppi

Dinesh Vijan’s production venture Luka Chuppi is all set to the theatres on March 1. Starring Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan in the lead, the romantic comedy is about live-in relationship but with a crazy twist. The trailer of the film, which was launched not too long ago, was absolutely funny and received good response from the viewers on social media. Since then everyone has been rooting for the fresh Jodi of Kriti and Kartik. While we’ll have to wait a little longer to see the film, for now, the makers have released a new song and it’s quite good

Duniyaa, which again is a recreated number, has been sung by Akhil and Dhvani Bhanushali. Penned by Kunaal Vermaa, the romantic balled has been composed by Vijan Ganguly. While the song itself is easy on the ears and melodious, what makes it really special is Kriti and Kartik’s crackling chemistry. The video shows the beautiful journey of their love story and all the precious moments the two share while living together. From start to end, the song is very appealing visually courtesy the lead pair of the film. Otherwise too, Duniyaa is worth hearing because it’s a good romantic song, with soothing music and meaningful lyrics.

While I like the latest song from the film, the fact that so far none of the tracks from the film have been original compositions is a bit disappointing. Anyways, you guys should still hear the song and let us know your thoughts on the same in the comments section below. Apart from Kriti and Kartik, Luka Chuppi also stars the very talented Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak and Atul Srivastava.
