Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s Badla is all set to release this Friday (March 8). And while we are quite excited to see the movie, the latest video from team Badla is a treat for not just Bachchan fans, but also for fans of Shah Rukh Khan. As we all know, SRK is producing the movie under his Red Chillies Entertainment banner. And to promote it, the two legends – Amitabh and Shah Rukh have come together for a Badla Unplugged series. In the video series, the two superstars interview each other. Today (March 4), the first episode dropped and we not only saw SRK having a fanboy moment with Sr. Bachchan, but he also revealed how Amitji’s popular baritone was rejected by All India Radio. Can you believe that?

Yes, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan got candid about their journey during Badla Unplugged episode 1. They even revealed many secrets! From talking about how Bachchan started acting from kindergarten to how he signed his first movie in 1969 for Rs 5,000, the actors got nostalgic. In fact, Bachchan even revealed how he was rejected by All India Radio twice. SRK also went on to reveal how he used to see the legend’s films first day first show every time. The duo even delivered Bachchan’s iconic dialogue from Shahenshah!

But that wasn’t it! Bachchan also expressed that he was unhappy that Shah Rukh had rejected his favourite Badla poster. However, SRK had a reason for it. He mentioned how he wanted it to be autographed by Bachchan and frame it for himself in his room. He clearly had a fanboy moment during the episode. The duo promises there is much more in store, but for that we’ll have to wait for Badla Unplugged episode 2. In the meantime, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
