Gully Boy teaser: Ranveer Singh’s rap and Alia Bhatt’s performance will leave you mesmerised – watch video

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have had a fantastic year in 2018. While Ranveer made headlines for his marriage besides having a fantastic run at the Box Office with two superhits – Padmaavat and Simmba, Alia too garnered a hit with Raazi, besides being in news for dating Ranbir Kapoor. So far, Ranveer and Alia have done ads together which have been well-received by their fans. Naturally, they wanted to see the duo pair up on the big screen too. And now with Gully Boy, this dream team has finally come together. The Alia and Ranveer-starrer is all set to hit the screens this Valentine’s Day (February 14) and to get us all excited the makers dropped a teaser. And we have to say, Ranveer’s rap and Alia’s performance will really leave you completely mesmerised.

The teaser shows Ranveer as an aspiring rapper, who takes part in several rap battles and competitions, while keeping it a secret from his family. He falls in love with a Muslim girl (played by Alia) and their whirlwind romance along with his quest to be the biggest rapper in India makes up the teaser largely. We even see glimpses of jealousy, love and lust in the Gully Boy promo and we have to say we can’t wait to see this one, especially after hearing one of the raps from the movie. Sung by Ranveer himself, the rap has heart wrenching lyrics and you get very engrossed in the video with it.
