The latest film teaser of Sridevi Bungalow has already started creating controversy around it because of its sensational plot. Looks like Priya Prakash Varrier’s Bollywood debut won’t be a smooth ride. Recently, Jahnvi Kapoor was asked about her reactions to the trailer. Read on to know what happened next! Jahnvi Kapoor recently attended an award show, and on the red carpet, when asked to comment on Sridevi Bungalow, she, at first, couldn’t figure out what to say, and in a moment or two, her manager called off the media interaction, and Jahnvi decided not to say anything and walked off looking angry and upset.

This gesture itself shows how the family is not at all happy about the film. Jahnvi’s father, film producer Boney Kapoor, has already filed a lawsuit against the makers of the film. He has accused the filmmaker of wrongly portraying the story. The teaser shows Priya as a superstar who dies in the same manner as the legendary actor Sridevi. It is not only Jahnvi and her family who are not happy with the teaser, but the industry is not supporting it either, calling it in bad taste and insensitive.  The fans of late actress Sridevi have rejected the teaser outright, as the portrayal according to them is wrong. The title of the film is adding more to the negative responses.

Sridevi passed away last year after accidentally drowning in a bathtub in a Dubai hotel where she had gone to attend a family wedding. Whilst Sridevi Bungalow is Priya’s debut to the Hindi film industry, her first film itself seems to be surrounded by controversy.
